Share sessions with your team in projects
In a team, a session you keep is yours alone until you file it in a project. A project shows it to the people you name, or to everyone in the team.
On this page
Make a project
In the team's Library, press New project, give it a name and choose Who sees it. People I name: You, the people you name, and the team's Owner and Admins. Everyone in the team shows it to every member. Then press Create project. Members make projects while the team lets them: when Members may create projects is off in the team's Sharing section, only the Owner and Admins do.
Choose who sees a project
On a project's page, Change opens Who sees this project, where you add or remove the members it is shown to. The team's Owner and Admins always see it. The member who made the project, and the Owner and Admins, change who sees it. The Owner and Admins also find every project of the team in the team's Projects section of the account page.
File a session in a project
Open a session you kept in the team and choose the project under Project. The people the project is shown to can then open the session and read its report and transcript. Only the member who made it changes its title, notes and tags. The Owner and Admins can move a session they can open from one project to another.
Archive a project
Archive asks first. Nothing in it is deleted. No session can be filed in it until it is restored. Restore brings it back. A project is never deleted.
When someone leaves the team
When a member leaves or is removed, what only they could see in the team is deleted with their membership: their sessions and documents filed in no project, and their links. What they filed in a project stays, apart from files they added from Google Drive, and only the Owner and Admins can move it to another project or delete it. Leaving a team, or being removed from one, deletes the files you added there, including those you shared with the team. They come from your own Google account, so they leave with you. Before you leave, the question says how many of your sessions in the team only you can see, and Export them first saves them in one file. An Owner deleting the team is offered the same for the sessions they can see.
